Introduction

Destination Travel Advisors uses Travel 42 as a source for destination guides. At this time our focus from this tool is for destination information only to send to our travelers along with their itinerary from TRAVEFY. While there may be other features within this tool our focus is on destination guides.

Basics of Travel42

Make sure your contact and profile information is correct by clicking Profile in the upper right corner. You can even add your headshot and logo.
Once you have edited your profile you can begin researching information. In the search bar on the dashboard you can search for anything; destinations, hotels, cruises, see and do, & dining. You will notice a drop down populates and you can click on anything in the drop down or click the magnifying glass/enter to pull up all results.

Destination Guides - You can navigate between all the tabs within a destination guide by clicking to the left. You can also quick send or quick print a full destination guide(no hotels or related) by clicking Send or Print at the top. If you want to add this to a trip plan you can start clicking on any of the check boxes beside the items you want to add to a trip plan or click "Apply Destination template" for a more condensed version of all the information.

Hotels - Within the destination guide there is a hotels tab- You can also see the hotels on a map or list view by utilizing the icons in the upper right corner, right above the hotels, and filter hotels by click filter hotels at the top.

Cruises - You can search for cruise lines or ships by typing in the destination name, cruise ship name, cruise line name in the search bar. Cruise ships are the actual ships and Cruises are the actual schedules of the cruises.

Travelers/Clients

Anyone you want to send a trip plan or information to they must have a traveler profile saved. You only have to create a traveler profile once and they will be saved forever, or until you delete them. There are a couple of ways to create a traveler profile. This consists of the first name, last name, and email address- plus extra info you can add that may help you with this client in the future
